Detailed Engineering

Each customer's requirement is unique and to provide a customized solution is the company's business. COMSIP AL A’ALI provides customer focused engineering solutions with a team of more than 30 qualified engineers and designers.

Advanced software such as ETAP Engineering Software, Intelligent P&ID, INTools, AutoCad and EDMS forms part of the support infrastructure.

Project Management

COMSIP AL A'ALI's project management teams have extensive experience in completing high value projects of varying complexity through the effective utilization of:

  • Scope and cost management.

  • Time management.

  • Quality management.

  • Procurement and material management

  • Resource management.

 

Some of the tools used to accomplish the above are:

  • Primavera and MS Project (resource management and planning).

  • In-house database (material control).

 

Installation and Supervision

Installation and supervision forms the core of project execution. Technical expertise of COMSIP AL A'ALI's supervisors and the workmanship of its installation team aim to satisfy the client's requirements in project execution.

The total of more than 80 supervisory staff comprises highly qualified and experienced site superintendents, supervisors, foreman and chargehand.

Maintenance Services

COMSIP AL A’ALI’s relationship with its clients never ends with the handing over of the project. Typical services, which are provided after project close-out :

  • Electrical and instrumentation shutdown maintenance.

  • 11KV transformer and switchgear maintenance.

  • 66KV and 220KV transformer maintenance.

  • Secondment of specialized personnel

Specialized Services

Comsip Al A’Ali provides a wide range of services for voice and data networks on FibreOptics and its qualified staff have extensive experience in laying of FibreOptic cable, fusion splicing and testing.

The company has state of the art equipment to deal with various types of FibreOptics, i.e. multi mode, single mode and single mode dispersion shifted, such as:

  • OTDR (Waveteck), MTS 5100C

  • Splicing Machine (Fujikura) FS40

  • Laser Source & Power meter

  • (Acterna) OLS-5,OLS-6, OLP-15c
