Equipment and Testing Facilities

The equipment and testing facilities which are an integral part of the Company's support infrastructure, include the following:

  • Instrument Laboratory with test equipment traceable to national/international standards.
  • HV (Hi pot) Tester upto 200KV DC.
  • Oil Filtration Machines (6000 litres/hour).
  • Pilot cable testing equipment.
  • Modern cable installation equipment.
  • A large fleet of commercial vehicles including a Manitex 18 ton crane.

Logistic Control

Logistic control plays a vital role for the material procurement and delivery from across the world. The company can access any major supplier in the quickest possible time, and through the worldwide network of its global partner Cegelec.

Environment, Health and Safety

The company places a high premium on the safety of its staff and equipment and protection of the environment. COMSIP AL A'ALI employs 10 full-time Safety Officers to meet these obligations. In addition, site supervisors have been specifically trained with regard to health & safety rules & regulations.

In September 2005 Comsip Al A’Ali achieved a record of 5,000,000 man-hours worked without lost time accident.

Training

Continuous staff training, locally and abroad, is the key to match the most demanding professional requirements. This effort is led by an in-house Training Officer.

Quality Assurance

Quality in the operation and services provided by the company has always been a high priority since its inception.

In April 1993, COMSIP AL A’ALI became the first company in Bahrain to be certified to ISO 9002.

In June 2003, the company received certification according to ISO 9001: 2000 standard.
